Clementine by Sara Pennypacker

If you are looking for a funny book to read about a girl who always seems to be in the hot spot then search no farther than Clementine by Sara Pennypacker. The Tuesday Lunch Bunch has been reading the book and will discuss the book here.

Margaret cut off some of her hair and then Clementine cut off the rest of it. Clementine drew a picture of Margaret to try and make her feel beeter and she said that she looked like a dandelion! -A

Another funny part was when Clementine drew curls with a "Sunset Flame" colored marker on Margaret's head so that Margaret would look like Clementine. -H

I like the part when she calls her brother vegetable names like spinach, broccoli and celery. She doesn't like being named for a fruit.-D

I liked it when she answered the phone in the principal's office. She ordered all this stuff and made her an appointment. -I

It was funny when Clementine scared Margaret in the bathroom. Margaret is very neat and she was stittling on the dirty floor, and Clementine told her there was a germ crawling up her leg. -S

  1. We had lots of laughs reading about this new funny character, Clementine! The library has a few other books with this crazy character that you might enjoy reading. Ms Krufka

  2. I am reading Clementine's Letter and I really liked it when Clementine was saying the Pledge of Allegiance and she said "I pledge Allegiance to the flag of the United States of OUCH!". That was because Norris-Borris-Morris was poking her. She is always getting in trouble for doing stuff like that and it makes me laugh. I think so far this book is even funnier than the first one I read. DS
